Ian Haney Lopez
Ian Haney López is one of the nation's leading thinkers on how racism has evolved in the United States since the civil rights era. He is the author of three books, most recently Dog Whistle Politics: How Coded Racial Appeals Have Reinvented Racism and Wrecked the Middle Class. He's a Senior Fellow at Demos and holds an endowed chair at the UC Berkeley School of Law.
