The Difference It Can Make: Strategic Research Capacity in Community Campaigns

Strategic research is a premium resource for grassroots organizations as they explore or deepen campaigns and engage their members. For organizations fighting for racial justice, dedicated strategic research is even more vital, as much existing research on their issues may remain silent on racial inequity. This session will (1) highlight how campaign-based research has enabled base-building organizations to deepen their campaigns and their relationships with members; and (2) explore how to expand strategic research capacity for progressive grassroots organizations committed to racial justice.

Speakers: Maurice Weeks, Jose Lopez, Connie Razza
