Nuestro Texas: An Intersectional Approach to Reproductive Health as a Human Right

This session will present the Nuestro Texas campaign as a multi-platform advocacy strategy that seeks to bridge the movements for reproductive rights and gender justice with immigrant justice. We will present the collaborative approach between the Center for Reproductive Rights and the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health to illustrate the impact of the draconian laws that have limited reproductive health access for Latina immigrants in the Rio Grande Valley, and will share findings from our human rights documentation report that have been used to support a campaign that continues to mobilize immigrant women in the Valley and statewide.

Speakers: Lucy Felix, Katrina Anderson
