Breakout Sessions
We are soliciting proposals for interactive 90-minute in-person breakout sessions in varied formats, eg. film screening, panel discussion, hands-on art project, or skill-building. Race Flicks
Race Flicks focuses on showcasing the highest caliber filmmaking related to racial justice and strategies for using it to make an impact. The selected films will be chosen in large part because of the way they have been or could be used strategically by activists, organizers, nonprofits, and other institutions to advance their work for racial justice. Volunteer
Race Forward is currently seeking volunteers for Facing Race, the largest multiracial, intergenerational gathering for organizers, educators, creatives, and other leaders. The last Facing Race was held virtually and was Race Forward’s largest ever, with over 4,000 attendees! To apply, please complete the application; (opens new window) by May 1, 2022.
