Angela Gravely-Smith is Assistant Director for Homeownership at Living Cities focused on transforming local government practices and policies to increase and sustain homeownership for people of color as a pathway to close the racial wealth gap. Angela leads Living Cities’ Closing the Gaps cohort work with the cities of Austin, Alburquerque, Memphis, Minneapolis, St. Paul, and Rochester. She has over 20 years of experience in the housing and community development field. Prior to joining Living Cities, Angela was Director of Real Estate Enterprise Strategies for NeighborWorks America, where she was responsible for a peer learning cohort and technical assistance programs.
