The Facing Race conference will be hosted both IN-PERSON and ONLINE November 17-19, 2022. The conference will be streaming all main stage events including keynote remarks, performances and plenaries live from Phoenix, Arizona. The decision to go hybrid relied heavily on prioritizing the safety and health of our Facing Race community, our host city, and our staff.
However, the opportunity to share space with one another coupled with the intention of making the conference available to all of the Facing Race Community, including those who would like to participate but are unable to attend in-person is a priority. We will be hosting 80 breakout sessions in person, and 20 breakout sessions virtually with interactive spaces for networking with others in the movement, and much more!
COVID-19 may have kept us from meeting in person in 2020, but we believe staying connected as a movement has never been more important. Like those who came before us, we must strive and we must organize to create and build the society we want to live in together. It is a decisive and furious moment in our movement, a time to press forward as a coalition of movement makers. We ask you to join us in this movement!
